Stellar Speckle Park stud is owned and run by Phil and Therese Wright based in Southern Tasmania. At Stellar, we have a strong commitment to producing well balanced commercially relevant working bulls and using data and science to drive our breeding program.

Our bulls are grown under real world paddock conditions, and all have extensive performance data collected.

We are one of very few 4-star BREEDPLAN or higher completeness of performance Speckle Park studs in Australia and New Zealand.

Why Choose a Speckle Park Bull?

The Speckle Park breed expresses a tremendous hybrid vigour in a first cross and is widely known for high yields and softness of carcase, with eating quality similar to a Wagyu-cross. Likewise, early calf vigour, hardiness in tough conditions, good temperaments, and excellent feed conversion rates are major attributes of the breed.

Given the more difficult market conditions compared to recent years it is more important than ever to invest in sires than will drive increased profits in your breeding programs. A better bull with known characteristics will ultimately drive increased profits through more kilograms of meat and a better price per kilogram.
